Karen
Waltermire
Spectrum Gallery represents pen and ink drawings and oil paintings
by Karen Waltermire. The drawing selections are from a series
exploring the visual mechanics of thought. Her paintings reflect
an intesified sense of color as well as lucid exploration
of form through insinuation. Waltermire’s technique
resembles an enhanced, contemporary vision with surrealist,
cubist, and minimalist undertones.
